The 3M™ Protecta® 3590570 is a self-retracting lifeline (SRL) designed for fall protection at height. It features a 15 m galvanised steel cable that extends and retracts with the user during normal movement. In the event of a fall, an integrated speed-detection braking system activates to arrest the fall and reduce forces on the worker to a safe level. The lifeline remains under constant tension, minimising slack, tripping and snag hazards.
The unit is housed in a compact, lightweight aluminium or thermoplastic casing with a stackable design for easy storage and transport. It is equipped with a swivel anchor karabiner hook and a rotatable snap hook harness connection for added comfort and freedom of movement. A top-mounted D-ring and integrated carry handle further enhance usability on site.
This model supports a maximum user weight of 140 kg and has a maximum arrest force of 6 kN. It is CE certified to EN 360 and is suitable for work at height in construction and similar applications.
