The 3M™ Protecta® 3590520 is a self-retracting lifeline (SRL) designed to provide reliable fall protection for workers at height. It features a 6 m galvanised steel cable that extends and retracts with the user's movement, keeping the line under constant tension to reduce dragging, snagging, and tripping hazards. In the event of a fall, a speed-activated braking system engages to arrest the fall and limit forces on the worker to a safe level.
The unit is housed in a compact, lightweight aluminium or thermoplastic casing with a stackable design for easy storage and transport. It includes a swivel anchor karabiner hook for the top connection and a swivel snap hook for harness attachment, providing freedom of movement and added comfort. The integrated carry handle makes it easy to transport between work locations.
This model is CE certified to EN 360, supports a maximum user weight of 140 kg, and has a maximum arrest force of 6 kN. It is suitable for use in construction and other work-at-height applications.
