The Climax 30 is a symmetrical steel karabiner connector designed to link the various components of a fall protection or restraining system and to connect the entire system to the anchorage point on the structure where the user is working. It is an essential component for building a safe fall protection system.
The connector features an automatic spring-loaded closure combined with a manual locking barrel, preventing involuntary or accidental opening. All components — body, pins, spring, barrel, screwgates and locking mechanism — are made of steel with excellent mechanical properties. The karabiner has a 16 mm gate opening, measures 57 x 107 mm, and weighs approximately 175 g, with a minimum breaking strength of 23 kN.
The Climax 30 is CE certified to EN 362:2004 under EU Regulation 2016/425 (notified body No. 1019) and is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
