The Climax 35 GIRO SEMI is an energy absorber designed to be used together with a safety harness as part of a complete fall arrest system. It is particularly suited for work at height during scaffolding installation, where the Y-shaped anchoring strap allows the user to remain secured to the structure at all times. The integrated lanyard eliminates the need for a separate anchorage connector.
The unit features a tear-webbing energy absorber band and two semi-static ropes of 11 mm diameter (class A) arranged in a Y-configuration. A swivel connector at the rope junction prevents rope entanglement during maneuvers. The assembly includes one model 32 steel directional connector (23 kN MBL, 18 mm opening) and two model 31 steel directional connectors (23 kN MBL, 51 mm opening) for attachment to large-diameter structures.
Total length is 1.55 m and weight is 1.85 kg. The theoretical service life is 15 years from the date of manufacture for textile and plastic components. The product is certified to EN 355:2002 and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425, with CE certification issued by control body No. 1019.
