The Climax PCX-020 is a mobile anchoring tripod designed for personnel entering confined spaces such as manholes, tanks, hatches and other below-ground work areas. It provides fall arrest protection during access and rescue operations.
The tripod structure consists of three adjustable anodised aluminium telescopic feet. The base can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly without tools. The working height is adjustable from 135 to 240 cm, with a usable diameter of 114 to 214 cm. The anchor points have been tested satisfactorily with a load of 150 kg.
A rescue winch with 20 m galvanised steel cable and a manual locking system is included. The unit is supplied with a carry bag. The PCX-020 is CE certified to EN 795:2012 Class B and EN 1496:2006 Class A under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, notified body 0598.
