The Climax 20M-A is a retractable fall arrester designed to protect against falls from height. Equipped with an automatic inertia braking system, it allows the user to move freely across a wide working area while maintaining continuous fall protection. Suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications, it is ideal for work on roofs, slopes, and in confined spaces.
The device features a polyamide housing with fibreglass reinforcement, a 4.8 mm diameter galvanised steel cable with 20 metres of length, and an integrated energy absorber. The top connector is a symmetrical Climax 30 hook with manual threaded locking and a 16 mm opening, while the bottom connector is a steel swivel hook with an automatic locking system and a 19 mm opening. Maximum user weight is 120 kg.
The Climax 20M-A is certified to EN 360:2002 and RFU CNB/P/11.060, with notified body 0598. The theoretical service life of the equipment is 15 years from the date of manufacture.
