The Climax 6M-A retractable fall arrester is equipped with automatic inertia braking, allowing the user to move freely over a wide working area while providing protection against falls from height. It is suitable for both vertical and horizontal use.
The device consists of a Climax 30 symmetrical connector with manual threaded lock (16 mm opening), a PA + fibreglass housing, a 4.8 mm diameter galvanised stainless steel cable with 6 m length, an integrated energy absorber, and a steel swivel connector with automatic locking system (19 mm opening). Maximum user weight is 120 kg.
Certified to EN 360:2002 and RFU CNB/P/11.060, notified body 0598. The theoretical service life of the equipment is 15 years from the date of manufacture.
