The Climax Lanyard 42 semi 2mtr is a Y-shaped anchoring strap designed as an indispensable component of a safe fall arrest system. It is built to support the most demanding work situations, ensuring reliable protection at all times when connected to a full-body harness.
The lanyard is composed of two twisted semi-static ropes made of polyamide with a diameter of 11 mm (Class A). It is fitted with three steel directional connectors: one model 32 connector with an 18 mm opening and two model 31 connectors with a 54 mm opening, the latter suitable for connection to large-diameter structures. All connectors feature an automatic threaded locking system and a minimum breaking load of 22 kN.
The lanyard has a total length of 2 metres and a minimum breaking load of 22 kN. It weighs 1.513 kg. The theoretical service life is 10 years from the date of manufacture and 5 years from first use. The product is CE certified to EN 354:2010, with control body number 0321.
