The Climax 545-A welding goggles are designed to protect against radiation emitted during oxyacetylene and oxyfuel welding processes. The frame features a green PVC resin front with an elastic fastening band and a black polyamide folding frame. The spectacles are equipped with four eyepieces: two colourless polycarbonate eyepieces (50 mm diameter, 1 mm thick) for clear vision, and two inactinic glass filtering eyepieces (50 mm diameter, 2.5 mm thick) housed in the folding section that can be raised when welding work is finished.
The frame is certified to EN 175:1997 with increased mechanical resistance (marking S), while the colourless eyepieces are certified to EN 166 with low energy impact resistance (marking F) and optical class 1. The product complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and EN ISO 16321-1:2022. Available in shade 6.
