The Climax 415-A welding face shield is designed to offer effective protection against radiation emitted during welding processes, as well as against incandescent particles that can be projected during welding. The assembly comprises a helmet and a flip-up welding mask with a helmet attachment.
The helmet shell is injection moulded in high-density polythene, featuring a smooth surface with two parallel ribs and a solid triangular section rib for greater rigidity. It has an eyeshade in the central part and a water-collecting rim around the perimeter. The harness is made of injected linear polythene with high impact absorption capacity, featuring a headband, nape band and six-point inner harness. The headband is covered with a textile sweat-absorbent band at the front, and the nape band has a wheel-based size adjustment mechanism. Height can be adjusted in three positions.
The welding face shield body is made of polyamide with glass fibre, offering excellent non-flammable properties. It completely covers the user's face, protecting from possible burns. The shield has a rectangular cavity housing an inactinic filter with dimensions of 110x55 mm, and includes a colourless polycarbonate filter cover (1 mm thick) to protect the filter from projections and impact. The standard mask is fitted with a shade 12 inactinic filter.
This product is CE certified under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and complies with the following standards: EN 166:2001, EN 169:2002, EN 175:1997 and EN 397:2012+A1:2012. The securing system is fully adjustable to adapt perfectly to different users.
