The Climax 597-I safety glasses are designed to provide effective protection against high-speed, low-energy particle impact, such as wood, metal and plastic chips or pieces of stems and branches. The 597-I version offers UV radiation protection, shielding the user from sources that emit UV radiation.
The frame is made of lightweight grey nylon with a soft universal nose bridge for easy and comfortable fitting. The temples are adjustable in length and feature a pantoscopic system for an optimal fit. The polycarbonate lens is treated with both anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings, ensuring clear vision and durability during prolonged use.
Weighing only 34 g, the Climax 597-I features optical class 1 and a visible light transmittance of 88 %, providing excellent optical clarity. The special design minimises restriction of the lateral viewing angle. The product is certified to EN ISO 16321-1:2022 and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
