The JSP EVO® VISTAlens® AMB170 is a next-generation vented safety helmet based on proven Evolution® head protection technology, incorporating a fully retractable optical Class 1 integrated overspec with B-rated impact resistance. The integrated eyewear deploys easily and is always on hand, eliminating the need to carry separate safety glasses.
Head protection conforms to EN 397 and EN 50365 (electrical insulation up to AC 1000 V / DC 1500 V). The helmet has been tested for lateral deformation, molten metal resistance, and impact protection at extreme temperatures (-40°C to +55°C). Eye protection conforms to EN 166 and EN 170, with lens marking 2C-1.2 1 BT KN CE — providing UV protection, anti-scratch (K), anti-mist (N), and medium-energy impact resistance (B).
Key features include the Safety Cell, which prevents ricocheting debris from travelling up the eyewear and impacting the scalp; a TPR lens seal that moulds to the face for enhanced projectile protection and reduced misting; and the Revolution® Flex wheel ratchet harness for a pressure-free, all-day comfortable fit. The overspec is interchangeable and can be swapped for a VISTAshield® faceshield. The helmet is fully compatible with prescription eyewear worn underneath the integrated overspec.
