The JSP AMB170 EVO VISTAlens is a feature-rich safety helmet based on proven Evolution® head protection technology, incorporating a fully retractable optical class 1 integrated overspec with B-rated impact resistance. The eyewear is interchangeable, allowing users to swap the overspec for a VISTAshield® faceshield to ensure the appropriate protection is on hand when required.
The helmet shell meets EN 397, EN 50365 (electrical insulation up to AC 1000 V / DC 1500 V), and has been tested for lateral deformation, molten metal exposure, and impact protection at extremes of temperature (-5°C to +55°C, -40°C). The integrated VISTAlens® overspec is optical class 1 with B-rated impact resistance (6mm, 0.86g ball at 430kph), K-rated anti-scratch, N-rated anti-mist, and T-rated impact protection at temperature extremes. The lens marking is 2C-1.2 1BT KN CE.
The safety cell concept prevents ricocheting debris from travelling up the eyewear and impacting the scalp, while the TPR lens seal moulds to the wearer's face for enhanced projectile protection and reduced misting. The Revolution® Flex wheel ratchet harness eliminates pressure points for all-day comfort, and the helmet is fully compatible with prescription eyewear worn underneath the integrated overspec. Optional dual vented shell increases comfort with a cooling air flow.
