The Uvex pheos 9192285 is a sporty, timeless safety spectacle with a frameless design that provides an extra-large field of vision. The ergonomically shaped side arms with soft-grip temple ends ensure a comfortable, secure fit without pressure, while the anatomically shaped nose bridge is designed for all-day comfort. The spectacles are metal-free and compatible with the uvex IES system.
The robust polycarbonate lens features uvex's proven supravision excellence coating technology, providing permanent anti-fog and scratch-resistant properties. The grey lens (23% transmission) offers UV400 protection, blocking 100% of dangerous UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nm. The lens is rated filter 5-2.5 according to EN 172, with optical class 1 and impact resistance F (45 m/s), plus resistance to high-speed particles at extremes of temperature (T). The frame also carries impact rating F (45 m/s) and temperature resistance T.
An optional clip-in frame seal provides extra protection against particles, dirt and dust, and a headband option keeps the eyewear securely in place during overhead work or work in confined spaces. The spectacles weigh approximately 29 g and are certified to EN 166 and EN 172 standards, PPE Category II.
