The 3M™ 2890A is an indirectly ventilated safety goggle featuring a clear acetate lens that provides increased chemical resistance compared to polycarbonate. The anti-fog coated lens helps maintain clear vision in hot or humid conditions, while indirect ventilation improves air circulation and reduces fogging.
The goggles feature optical class 1 for prolonged use, a modern slim design, and a wide adjustable strap with pivoting ratchet for individual fit. The PVC frame with nylon temple attachment and polyester headband ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Weighing 99 g, the 2890A can be worn over prescription spectacles and offers a wide field of view.
These goggles are designed for protection against liquid droplets, large dust particles, low energy impact (F) and medium energy impact (B) at extreme temperatures (-5°C to +55°C) in accordance with EN 166:2001. They also provide UV protection in accordance with EN 170:2002. The product is CE marked to European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and type examined by BSI Group (Notified Body 2797). A replacement acetate lens (3M™ 289A) is available.
