The 3M™ SecureFit™ SF401AS/AF is a lightweight (19g) rimless safety spectacle from the SF400 Series, designed for comfortable all-day wear across a diverse workforce. It features a clear polycarbonate lens with 3M™ Scotchgard™ Anti-Fog (SGAF) coating, providing EN166 Anti-Fog (N) and Anti-Scratch (K) protection for improved durability and clear vision.
The frame incorporates 3M™ Pressure Diffusion Temple Technology, which uses slotted ribs to distribute pressure evenly over the ear, allowing the temples to flex and automatically adjust to the wearer's head size. Adjustable nose pads and soft-touch dual-moulded temple inlays further enhance comfort and grip. The integrated side-shields provide added lateral protection, while the wraparound design ensures a wide field of vision.
These spectacles are CE approved to EN166:2001 for protection against high-speed low-energy particles (F) at extreme temperatures (-5 °C to +55 °C) (T), and to EN170:2002 for UV radiation protection. The optical class 1 lens is suitable for prolonged use. Typical applications include construction, engineering, general assembly, inspection work, and light duty maintenance and repair.
