The 3M™ WP98 is a clear acetate face shield from the 3M™ WP series, designed to provide reliable face protection in demanding work environments. It is certified to EN 166:2001 and offers protection against high-velocity particles (medium energy impact, class B at 120 m/s), low-energy impact (class F at 45 m/s), infrared radiation, secondary welding glare, liquid splashes, and molten metal splashes. The shield is made from optical class 1 acetate material with a curved design for optimal coverage and visibility.

This face shield is specifically designed for use with the 3M™ SecureFit™ X5000 series helmets, utilizing the 3M™ U5B face shield mounting system for secure and easy attachment. It also fits the 3M™ H8 headband. The WP series face shields additionally provide UV protection, making them suitable for a range of industrial and welding-related applications.
