The Mapa Temp-Dex 720 is a heat-resistant work glove designed for handling hot, sharp, and oily parts in dry environments at temperatures below 150 °C. It combines thermal insulation from a terry-knit interior with cut-resistant knitted aramide fibres, providing snijbescherming level B according to EN 388 and ISO 13997 (7 N). The glove is certified to EN 407 (X2XXXX) for contact heat protection and classified as PPE Category 2.
The outer surface features a dotted nitril coating that improves grip in moderately oily conditions, while the knitted cuff ensures a secure fit. The glove is free from DMF and silicone-free to prevent marks on metal and glass surfaces before painting. It offers good abrasion resistance for extended service life and scores 5/5 for dexterity according to EN ISO 21420.
Typical applications include mechanical industry work, rubber industry vulcanising and moulding, handling hot pipes, hot steel after welding, and working with ceramic moulds.
