The Ansell AlphaTec 87-108 is a heavy-duty chemical-resistant glove made from 1.5 mm (59 mil) natural rubber latex, designed for demanding chemical and mechanical protection tasks. Its abrasion-resistant outer surface provides enhanced durability, while the natural latex composition delivers strong chemical resistance, particularly against water-based hazards.
The glove features a long 610 mm (24") length with a beaded cuff for added forearm and wrist protection and easier donning. A chlorinated surface treatment improves cleanliness and hardness, and the natural latex construction maintains flexibility and elasticity despite the glove's substantial thickness. Quality is assured with an AQL of 0.65.
Certified to EN ISO 374-1:2016 (Type AKLMPT) for chemical protection, EN ISO 374-5:2016 for micro-organism resistance, and EN 388:2016 +A1:2018 (3121B) for mechanical protection, the AlphaTec 87-108 meets EN ISO 21420:2020 and is CE Category III certified. It complies with REACH regulations and is silicone-free.
