The Climax Atlas Rescue is a full body fall arrest harness designed for work at height, with a focus on rescue operations. It features a sternal anchor point specifically designed for rescue and vertical extraction (EN 1497), as well as a dorsal fall arrest anchor point (EN 361) for connecting a fall arrest system. Both anchor points are formed by 8 mm steel D-rings.
The harness includes lateral positioning points that distribute the load across the belt for work situations requiring positioning (EN 358), and a ventral O-ring anchor point for suspension work (EN 813), distributing the load between the belt and padded leg loops.
Constructed from 45 mm polyester webbing, the harness features a padded back panel and leg loops with breathable foam for comfort during extended use. It is equipped with three material-carrying rings, foldable side positioning and retention buckles, and automatic adjustment buckles for easy fitting. The harness supports a maximum user weight of 140 kg and weighs 2,310 g. It is certified to EN 361:2002, EN 358:2018, EN 813:2008 and EN 1497:2007 under EU Regulation 2016/425, with a theoretical service life of 15 years from the date of manufacture.
