The 3M Protecta AM450/80 is a portable and reusable anchor strap made from polyester webbing with galvanised steel fittings. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to transport and install at height, providing a reliable anchorage point for personal fall protection systems.
Designed for use in construction, general industry, mining, oil and gas, transport, utilities, and the wind energy sector, the AM450/80 is ideal for connecting to self-retracting lifelines and other personal fall arrest equipment. The visible colour of the webbing improves visibility on the job site, while a PVC protective sleeve helps reduce wear compared to conventional straps.
The anchor strap has a total length of 0.8 m (320 mm) and a weight capacity of 140 kg. It is CE certified to EN 795 Type B and weighs only 0.08 kg, making it a practical and durable solution for temporary and mobile anchorage applications.
