The JSP EVOGuard C5-MAX (ADA280) is a high-performance industrial visor designed to provide comprehensive facial coverage without restricting movement. The optical class 1 polycarbonate shield delivers a panoramic view with minimal distortion, making it comfortable for all-day wear. An integral chinguard provides enhanced lower-face coverage compared to standard EVOGuard visors.
The C5-MAX visor is compatible with EVO® helmet models (excluding the EVO®6100 range) and achieves A-rated high-energy impact resistance (6 mm, 0.86 g ball at 190 m/s) when fitted to a compatible JSP EVO® helmet. It also meets GS-ET-29 Class 1 for arc flash protection up to 4 kA (155 kJ/m² or 3.7 cal/cm²) when used as part of an arc flash protective ensemble with a compatible EVO® safety helmet. The visor carries additional markings for resistance to liquid splash (3), molten metals (9), fine particle surface damage (K), and fogging (N).
The polycarbonate visor filters harmful UV radiation (scale 2C-1.2) while maintaining high visible light transmittance (≥75%) and enhanced colour recognition. It is BSI Kitemark certified, weighs 216 g, and is recyclable. The EVOGuard® C5-MAX should be used as part of a complete arc flash protective ensemble including suitable arc flash protective clothing and gloves.
