The JSP EVO® VISTAshield® Dualswitch™ is a dual-standard industrial climbing helmet with integrated optical class 1 faceshield, fully certified to both EN 397 and EN 12492. A simple switch on the chinstrap allows you to change between the two standards easily — switch up for EN 397 and switch down for EN 12492. The helmet also complies with EN 50365 for electrical insulation up to 1000V AC.
The integrated VISTAshield® faceshield offers A-rated impact resistance, tested with a 6mm steel ball bearing at speeds of up to 425mph (685kph). It is rated optical class 1 with anti-scratch (K) and anti-mist (N) coatings, and provides UV protection (2C-1.2 per EN 170). The faceshield is interchangeable, allowing users to swap it for a VISTAlens® overspec when medium-energy impact protection with a close-fitting TPR seal is required.
The DUALSWITCH™ chinstrap system provides a release force greater than 500 Newtons under EN 12492 to limit the risk of losing the helmet during a fall, and between 150–250 Newtons under EN 397 to limit the risk of choking. The 4-point chinstrap is easy to adjust for a tailored fit. The Revolution® Flex wheel ratchet harness eliminates pressure points, fitted with a replaceable Chamlon™ cotton sweatband. The dual-vented shell increases comfort with a cooling airflow, reducing helmet temperatures by an average 2–3 degrees. The helmet is compatible with JSP PPE including Force®8 half masks, Sonis® ear defenders, and prescription eyewear.
