The Uvex astrospec 9164065 is a further development of the popular Uvex astrospec safety spectacles. It features a panoramic lens with integrated side protectors for optimum coverage of the entire eye area. The multi-level side arm inclination allows the wearer to adjust the fit to their individual face shape, while the uvex ventilation system with labyrinth seal ensures comfortable eye climate. Soft, non-slip sidearm ends made with uvex duo component technology help prevent pressure points, and the flat-fold design allows the spectacles to be easily stored in a breast pocket.
The clear polycarbonate lens (2.2 mm) is coated with uvex supravision sapphire and provides UV 400 protection. The frame combines a blue PC+TPU front piece, grey POM side piece, and blue–light blue PC+TPU/TPE temple. The lens is rated optical class 1 with filter marking 2C-1,2 (DIN EN 170) and offers surface resistance to fine particles (marking K).
The spectacles weigh 37 g and are certified to DIN EN 166 and DIN EN 170, PPE Category II, with low-energy impact resistance F (45 m/s) at extreme temperatures (T).
