Product information

The 3M Peltor WP96 is a curved polycarbonate face shield of optical class 1, designed to be mounted on 3M SecureFit X5000 series helmets using the 3M U5B visor attachment system. It is also compatible with 3M H8 headsets.

The visor provides protection against high-velocity particles at medium energy impact (120 m/s, class B) as well as low-energy impact (45 m/s, class F) in accordance with EN 166:2001. It further protects against ultraviolet (UV) radiation, infrared radiation, secondary welding glare, liquid splashes, and molten metal splashes.

Made from clear polycarbonate, the WP96 delivers a wide field of vision and reliable face protection for welding, grinding, and industrial applications where combined helmet and face shield protection is required.
