The 3M Peltor V9G Helmet Integrated Safety Spectacles are designed to attach to the headband of 3M helmets and headgear, providing eye protection against particles, UV radiation and sun glare. The grey lens features a shade 3,1 sun glare filter according to EN 172:1994.
The spectacles feature a clip-on attachment for easy fitting to compatible 3M helmets and headgear, including the G500, G22, G2000, G3000, G3501, H700, X5000 and X5500 series. Three pivoting adjustment points allow up-and-down, forwards-and-backwards, and angle adjustments for a secure fit across a range of face shapes and sizes. The adjustment mechanism also allows the spectacles to be stored inside the helmet when not in use. Without temple arms, the spectacles do not interfere with the acoustic seal of helmet-mounted earmuffs.
The polycarbonate lens features a durable scratch-resistant and fog-resistant coating to minimise physical damage and condensation. The spectacles are tested and approved to EN 166:2001, with optical class 1, low energy impact protection (F marking, 45 m/s), and CE marking under PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Typical applications include general industry, construction, forestry and metal working.
