3M PELTOR WorkTunes Pro HRXS220A FM Radio Headset

The 3M PELTOR WorkTunes Pro HRXS220A is a headband-style hearing protection headset with an integrated FM radio receiver. It helps protect against harmful workplace noise levels while allowing the user to listen to FM radio. The built-in antenna eliminates external cables that could snag on equipment, and up to five favourite stations can be stored for quick access via digital tuning with voice-guided menus.

A 3.5 mm listen-only stereo audio input (limited to 82 dB) allows connection to external devices such as mobile phones, two-way radios or media players. The headset features an automatic shut-off after four hours of inactivity to conserve battery life, and a battery indicator provides advance warning when replacement is needed. The electronics are integrated into the outer part of the ear cup to reduce corrosion from sweat and moisture.

The HRXS220A is tested and approved in accordance with EN 352-1:2002, with an SNR of 32 dB (H=34 dB, M=29 dB, L=22 dB). It is powered by two AA alkaline batteries, providing approximately 40 hours of battery life, and weighs 351 g including batteries. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +55°C. The product is CE-marked and the radio equipment complies with Directive 2014/53/EU.
