The 3M™ PELTOR™ Hygiene Kit HY54 is designed for the Optime III earmuff range. It contains replacement sealing rings and damping pads that can be swapped out in a few simple steps, helping to extend the service life of your hearing protectors.
Regular replacement of earmuff cushions and foam inserts helps maintain proper sealing, acoustic attenuation, and wearer comfort. 3M recommends replacing cushions and foam inserts every 6 months, or sooner if they show signs of damage.
The kit contains 2 foam inserts and 2 sealing rings. It is CE approved and intended for use in sectors such as agriculture and applications including welding.
