The 3M™ PELTOR™ X2A Comfort Earmuff provides hearing protection with an SNR of 31 dB, suitable for environments with medium to high noise levels. The yellow colour code allows quick visual identification of the protection level within the X-series range.
The headband version features an electrically insulated (dielectric) double headband with a stainless steel wire core coated in non-conductive material, tested to withstand up to 1.2 kV. The wide, flat headband is designed to distribute weight evenly, reduce heat buildup, and maintain consistent pressure for comfortable all-day wear. The ear cups are made from rigid ABS/TPU plastic, lined with PU foam, and fitted with soft PU foam and PVC cushion pads that provide an effective acoustic seal.
The slim cup design improves compatibility with other safety equipment such as helmets and face protection. Cushions and inserts are replaceable via hygiene kits to extend product life. The X2A model weighs 220 g and is type-approved under EU Regulation 2016/425, conforming to EN 352-1:2002. It is CE marked and certified by FIOH (Notified Body 0403).
