The Uvex silv-Air premium FFP3 is a particle-filtering folding mask designed for smaller to medium-sized face shapes. It provides FFP3-level respiratory protection against solid, aqueous and non-volatile liquid aerosols up to 30 times the respective limit values, making it suitable for applications such as woodworking, welding fumes, stainless steel and lead dust, asbestos (short periods), and exposure to nanoparticles, bacteria, viruses and fungal spores.
The mask features an exhalation valve that reduces breathing resistance and minimises heat and moisture build-up inside the mask. Soft material edges and a soft sealing lip in the nose and chin area ensure a comfortable, secure fit. A continuous, adjustable textile headband and a flexible aluminium nose clip allow for individual adjustment. The mask is individually packed and is compatible with uvex safety eyewear. It fulfils the requirements of the dolomite dust test (D).
Materials include a textile headband, silicone adjustment piece, aluminium nose clip, Melt Blown PP and polyester filter media, PVC sealing lip, and a valve made from 95% recycled ABS. The mask weighs 18 g and is certified to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009. It falls under PPE category III (high risks).
