The 3M 2128 is a P2 R particulate filter designed for use with 3M™ Half Facepiece Respirators 6500QL Series, as well as the 6000 and 7500 Series half and full face masks. It provides effective protection against airborne particles, including both oil and non-oil aerosols, and is CE-approved for particulate environments.
The filter features advanced electrostatic filter media (AEM) that delivers low breathing resistance and lightweight comfort, making it suitable for extended wear. Its bayonet fitting allows for quick and easy attachment to compatible 3M respirators.
Typical industrial applications include welding, the paper sector, brewing, and exposure to certain fumes and dyes. The filter is approved to EN 143:2000 and is intended for professional workplace use only. It is not suitable for use in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) environments or in atmospheres containing hazardous levels of organic vapours and/or acid gases.
