The 3M 6099 is a CE-approved combination filter offering protection against a broad range of gases, vapours and particles. It is classified A2B2E2K2HgP3 with additional formaldehyde protection, covering certain organic vapours (boiling point > 65 °C), certain inorganic vapours, acid gases, ammonia, formaldehyde and mercury. The filter also provides particle protection suitable for oil and oil-free aerosols.
The 6099 features a bayonet connection compatible with 3M 6000 Series, 6500QL Series and 7500 Series half-face respirators, as well as 3M 6000 Series and FF-400 full-face respirators. Its compact, rearward-arched design optimises the field of vision and balance, while low breathing resistance ensures comfortable wear over extended use. A quarter-turn installation allows quick and easy fitting.
This filter is intended for professional workplace use in hazardous environments and is not suitable for use in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) atmospheres. Replace according to a documented filter-change schedule or earlier if contamination is detected by odour, taste, or irritation. The 6099 meets EN 14387:2004 + A1:2008.
