The 3M™ 6092 is a combined gas, vapour and particle filter designed to protect against a broad range of gases, vapours and particles. It carries an A1B1E1K1P3 R classification with additional formaldehyde protection, and is CE-approved to EN 14387:2004 + A1:2008. The filter is suitable for use with both oil and non-oil aerosols and covers protection against organic vapours, inorganic gases, acidic gases, ammonia, formaldehyde and particulates.
The filter features a compact, rearward-arched design that optimises the field of vision and balance when fitted to the respirator. Its lightweight construction and low breathing resistance help ensure comfortable wear over extended periods. Installation is quick and straightforward using the 3M™ bayonet connection — simply align and turn a quarter turn to lock in place.
The 3M™ 6092 is compatible with CE-approved 3M™ 6000 Series, 6500QL Series and 7500 Series half-face respirators, as well as 6000 Series full-face respirators. This broad compatibility can help reduce inventory requirements across different mask types. The filter is intended for professional workplace use in hazardous environments and should be replaced according to a documented change schedule or immediately if contamination is detected by odour, taste, or irritation.
