The 3M 6059 is an ABEK1 gas and vapour filter designed for use with 3M bayonet-mount reusable half- and full-face respirators. It provides protection against a broad range of gases and vapours, including ammonia, organic vapours (boiling point >65 °C), chlorine, formaldehyde, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide. The filter is CE-approved in accordance with EN143:2000.
The compact, rearward-arched design offers a low profile for an optimised field of vision and balanced fit. Lightweight construction and low breathing resistance help ensure comfortable wear over extended periods. A quarter-turn bayonet connection allows quick and easy installation on compatible 3M 6000 series, 6500QL series and 7500 series half-face masks, as well as 6000 series full-face masks.
Suitable for use in hazardous environments across a variety of industrial applications. Intended for professional workplace use only. Not for use in immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) environments or where hazardous levels of airborne particles are present.
