The 3M™ 6055 Gas and Vapour Filter A2 is a CE-approved filter cartridge designed to protect against a broad range of organic vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C. It uses activated carbon to adsorb contaminants from the inhaled air, providing effective respiratory protection in hazardous environments.
The filter features a compact, rearward-arched low-profile design that optimises the field of vision and balance when fitted to a respirator. Its bayonet-style connection allows quick and easy quarter-turn installation on compatible 3M™ reusable half-face and full-face masks from the 6000, 6500QL and 7500 series.
Lightweight with low breathing resistance, the 3M™ 6055 filter is designed for comfortable long-duration wear across diverse industrial applications. It meets the EN 143:2000 specification and is intended for professional workplace use only. Replace the filter according to a documented change schedule or earlier if contamination is detected by odour, taste, or irritation.
