The 3M™ 5925 is a P2 R particle filter designed to protect against airborne particles such as dust, mist, fibres and metal fumes. It is CE approved for particle environments and meets the EN143:2000 specification. The filter features advanced electrostatic material (AEM) for lightweight, low-breathing-resistance comfort.
The 5925 uses a bayonet connection system, allowing quick and easy attachment to compatible 3M™ half- and full-face respirators. It is compatible with 3M™ Half Facepiece Respirators from the 6000, 6500QL and 7500 series, as well as 3M™ Full Facepieces from the 6000 and FF-400 series. The filter can be used with both oil and non-oil aerosols.
This particle pre-filter can be combined with 3M™ 6000 series gas and vapour cartridges using the 3M™ Filter Adapter 603, or held in place with the required 3M™ Filter Retainer 501. The replaceable design allows particle filters to be changed independently of gas and vapour filters, helping to reduce costs. Intended for professional workplace use only.
