The 3M 6503QL is a reusable half face mask made from silicone, designed for use with the 3M™ Bayonet filter connection system. The Quick Latch (QL) mechanism allows the mask to be put on and taken off quickly when moving in and out of contaminated areas, without the need to remove a safety helmet or visor.
The adjustable head harness provides an optimal fit and comfort, while the 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve reduces heat and moisture buildup and lowers breathing resistance. The mask’s exhalation valve design directs exhaled air and moisture downward, making it easy to perform a positive pressure seal check.
The silicone face seal offers comfort and stability with a soft yet firm seal. The resilient silicone material provides a longer service life and retains its shape in high-heat environments. The mask is lightweight and compatible with 3M™ welding and grinding visors. Its simple design with fewer parts and gaps makes cleaning and maintenance straightforward.
