The Chemdefend 250 lab coat is constructed from a microporous polyethylene barrier film laminated to spunbond polypropylene, delivering excellent barrier and repellency against liquid chemicals and biological agents. The fabric is soft, quiet and drapable, with an electrostatic dissipative coating.
The garment features bound seams for maximum strength and liquid and particle barrier performance, with all elastication fully sealed and enclosed to reduce linting. It is equipped with a front zip fastener and a breast pocket.
Certified to EN 1073-2:2002 (radioactive particulate contamination), EN 1149-5:2008 (electrostatic dissipative properties), EN 14126:2003 (infective agents), Type 5 – EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 (dry particle protection) and Type 6 – EN 13034:2005+A1:2009 (reduced spray protection). Suitable for use in agriculture, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, cleanrooms, nuclear industry, paint spraying, veterinary handling, cleaning and remediation, and the sewage industry.
