The JSP CAU601 Powercap Filters are a pair of replacement filters designed for use with the Powercap® Active™ powered air respirator. They help maintain optimal protection levels by ensuring the respirator continues to deliver filtered air at 160 litres per minute.
These filters are classified as TH1P (Turbo Hood, protects against solid and liquid aerosols) and are rated R (reusable). They meet the requirements of EN 12941 when fitted to the Powercap® Active™ respirator, with a minimum filtration efficiency of 90% and a maximum total inward leakage of 10%. The nominal and UK assigned protection factor is 10 when fitted to the Powercap® Active™ respirator.
Constructed from pleated media with an ABS plastic casing, the filters have a shelf life of 5 years and carry the BSI Kitemark. Each pair, including pre-filters, weighs 108 g. The filters do not contain an activated carbon layer and are not suitable for protection against gases or vapours.
