The Climax 725 ABEK2HGP3 is a combined respiratory filter designed for use with Climax 731-S and 731-C face masks, as well as any mask with a standard DIN thread connection (EN 148-1). It provides multi-gas and particle protection in a single unit.
The filter consists of two main components: a gas and vapour filter housed in a bell-shaped plastic casing for optimal airflow, and a P3 particle filter with a tapered casing that fits over the gas filter. Together they protect against organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C (A), inorganic gases such as chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide (B), sulphur dioxide (E), ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives (K), mercury and mercury vapours (Hg), as well as solid and liquid particles (P3). Mercury filters have a maximum service life of 50 hours.
The filter is certified to EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 and EN 148-1, and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It weighs 0.448 kg.
