The Climax 725 ABEK2P3 is a combined gas and particle filter designed for use with Climax face masks 731-S and 731-C, as well as any respirator equipped with a standard DIN thread connection according to EN 148-1.
The filter consists of two components: a gas and vapour filter housed in a bell-shaped ABS casing for optimised airflow, and a P3 particle filter with a tapered housing that retains solid and liquid particles. The two parts are assembled together by ultrasonic welding. The combined unit weighs approximately 0.429 kg.
It provides protection against A-type organic gases and vapours (boiling point > 65 °C), B-type inorganic gases (chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide), E-type sulphur dioxide, K-type ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives, and P3-level solid and liquid particles. The filter is certified to EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 and EN 148-1 under EU Regulation 2016/425, with notified body number 0161.
