The JSP Hardcap Aerolite is the lightest full-shell bump cap available on the market. A direct evolution of the popular HardCap A1+, it represents the forefront of innovation within the JSP head protection range, providing complete protection in its category by meeting the requirements of EN 812. Developed by JSP's in-house Research and Development department, it weighs less than 135 g without compromising on performance.
Underneath the sleek textile cover is a tough HDPE shell and a lightweight EPP impact liner, carefully designed for flexibility and wearer comfort. The cover features large open weave panels that allow easy transfer of cool air, substantially reducing heat build-up during extended wear. Large reflective areas on the side panels and reflective piping around the 5 cm peak provide extra visibility in low-light conditions.
The cover is removable and machine washable at up to 30°C. The sweatband and padding are treated with Polygiene® anti-bacterial coating, which reduces skin irritation, odours and wash cycles, and prolongs the lifetime of the fabric. Replaceable padding ensures extra comfort and a better fit, while the moisture-wicking comfort pad and sweatband move sweat away from the skin. Fits head sizes 53–64 cm with a slip ratchet adjustment. Optional 2-point chinstrap (EN 397 and EN 812 compliant) is available. BSI Kitemark certified.
