The JSP EVO®8 Safety Helmet - Baseworker™ is the first industrial hard hat in the world to meet and exceed the EN 14052 standard, the toughest head protection standard for industrial helmets. Designed for the highest risk environments, it provides protection against side, front and rear impacts through its shock absorbing EPS liner. Suitable for demolition, heavy construction, mining, tunnelling, oil and gas, offshore marine, refinery, petrochemical, high pressure jetting and certain emergency services.
The helmet features an ultra high strength outer shell with a ribbed upper section that dissipates impact energy, providing all-round protection down to 60° from vertical. The vented EPS liner optimises low angle impact performance while keeping weight low. EN 14052 requires the helmet to withstand over 100 joules crown impact (compared to 49 joules under EN 397) and side impact protection of 50 joules at up to 60° from vertical in a 360° radius.
Comfort is ensured by an extremely comfortable textile webbing harness that moulds to the wearer's head, with intuitive thumb and forefinger press points for easy wheel ratchet adjustment, offering a true 'One Size Fits All' fit. The international slot enables firm fitting of a range of Surefit™ safety visors and ear defenders, incorporating steel springs for easy deployment and retraction. Accessories sold separately.
