The JSP EVO ALTA Baseworker is a non-vented mountaineering-style safety helmet designed for all-round impact protection. Its specialised ABS shell and expanded polypropylene (EPP) internal liner deliver top, side, front and rear shock absorption, while an extended nape section provides greater neck coverage. The helmet meets the mandatory shock absorption and penetration resistance requirements of EN 12492 and is fully EN 397 compliant, including an EN 397 compliant 4-point chinstrap designed to release under force if caught or snagged. The non-vented version also meets the electrical insulation requirements of EN 397 (440V) and EN 50365 (1000V).
A Revolution Flex wheel ratchet harness secures the helmet and eliminates pressure points for maximum comfort. The 3D-adjustable harness cradles the head for a precise, stable fit, while the adjustable 4-point chinstrap ensures increased security. A replaceable Chamlon cotton sweatband is fitted as standard, and the helmet is compatible with EVO cooling sweatbands for protection against heat stress. The helmet weighs 500 g and fits head sizes 53–64 cm.
The EVO ALTA range is engineered for maximum accessory compatibility. Built-in attachment points on the front, sides and rear of the shell allow firm fitting of ear defenders, faceshields, goggle and lamp straps, plus a range of other accessories. An interchangeable front module offers a logo-ready standard front for company branding or an integrated ID card holder for on-site identification, both compatible with helmet lamps. A universal accessories slot, micro peak, reflective options and JSPCheck are also featured.
