The Climax 11mm vanglijn is a semi-static kernmantel rope designed for vertical work at height when used with fall arrest devices appropriate to the rope diameter. It is certified as Class A to EN 1891:1998 and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Constructed from polyamide 6, the rope features a cover with tenacity of 0.68 N/Tex and a core with tenacity of 0.77 N/Tex. The composition is 38.4% cover and 61.6% core by weight, with a linear density of 74.4 g/m. It has a breaking load of 3265 daN and withstands more than 20 falls without breaking, with an impact force of 532 daN. Elongation under load (50–150 kg) is 2.90%, and cover slip is 6 mm.
The rope is supplied with a sewn loop for anchoring and is suitable for use in fall factor 1 conditions with a mass of up to 100 kg. This version is 20 metres in length.
