The 3M™ 2890 Safety Goggles are indirectly ventilated goggles designed for eye protection against liquid droplets, large dust particles, low and medium energy impact, and UV radiation. The clear polycarbonate lens provides optical class 1 clarity for prolonged use, while indirect ventilation improves air circulation and reduces fogging in hot or humid conditions.
These goggles feature a modern slim design with a wide adjustable strap and pivoting ratchet for a comfortable, individual fit. The anti-scratch and anti-fog lens coating ensures greater durability and clear vision. The 2890 can be worn over prescription spectacles and weighs approximately 99 g.
Certified to EN 166:2001 with markings 2C-1.2 3M 1 BT KN, the goggles provide UV protection in accordance with EN 170:2002 and impact protection rated F (low energy, 45 m/s) and B (medium energy, 120 m/s) at extreme temperatures from -5°C to +55°C (T). The product is CE marked to European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and type examined by BSI Group (Notified Body 2797). The lens is made of polycarbonate, the frame of PVC, and the headband of polyester.
