The 3M™ Protecta® Self-Retracting Lifeline is a durable, lightweight fall protection solution that extends and retracts with the user as they move during work. In the event of a fall, a speed-activated braking system engages to arrest the fall and reduce forces exerted on the user to a safe level. The lifeline remains under constant tension, minimising slack, tripping, and snag hazards.

This model (3590521) features a 10 m galvanised cable, a swivelling anchor carabiner hook at the top, and a rotatable snap hook for harness connection. The housing is made of aluminium or thermoplastic, with a stackable design for easy storage and transport. It includes an integrated handle for convenient carrying to work locations.
