The JSP AMD170 VistaShield is a vented safety helmet with a fully retractable, optical class 1 integrated faceshield offering A-rated high-energy impact resistance. The built-in safety cell prevents ricocheting debris from reaching the scalp and ensures the faceshield cannot contact the head during an impact.
The faceshield is interchangeable, allowing users to swap to a VISTAlens overspec for medium-energy impact protection with a close-fitting TPR seal. The helmet is fully compatible with prescription eyewear, JSP Force 8 half masks with PressToCheck filters, and Sonis mounted ear defenders.
Head protection conforms to EN 397 and EN 50365 (electrical insulation up to AC 1000 V / DC 1500 V). Eye protection conforms to EN 166 and EN 170, with lens marking 2C-1.2 1AT KN CE. The helmet is K-rated (anti-scratch), N-rated (anti-mist), tested for lateral deformation, rated to -40°C, and tested for molten metal splash. The Revolution Flex wheel ratchet harness provides a pressure-free, all-day comfortable fit.
