The Uvex pheos alpine is a multifunctional safety helmet designed for working at height and rescue operations. It combines the properties of an industrial safety helmet (EN 397) with the requirements of a climbing helmet (EN 12492). The helmet features a front-mounted bracket for headlamps and Euroslot adapters (30 mm) on the sides for attaching ear defenders or the Uvex pheos visor system. Mounting options for headlamp, wide-vision goggles, and face protection are all present.

The helmet shell is made of lightweight ABS, offering robust protection. A six-point textile suspension harness ensures optimal fit and high comfort. An integrated dial-adjustment system allows for stepless size adjustment. A black PU sweatband is included as standard, with an optional light-coloured synthetic leather sweatband available separately. The helmet meets EN 397 with additional certification for very low temperatures (-30 °C). A four-point chin strap is securely fastened with rivets for EN 12492 compliance, and an additional chin strap is included for EN 397 use.
